Stephen Martin has joined The Melting Pot hosting team from a wedding events management background. Having created and delivered over 250 weddings he comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience on centre pieces and getting emotional brides down the aisle. Stephen is also the director of an Edinburgh based kids theatre company, SJM Creative, and in October 2017 became the owner and principle of Edinburgh Acting School. Always on the go and always liking to keep busy, you may find Stephen cleaning the kitchen or reorganising the files!
Lisa Kabouridis is a coach, trainer and facilitator with over 25 years experience in international business, ranging from Sony to the pharmaceutical industry. Over the past few years she has focused on coaching; helping others with their professional and personal development. She helps leaders, groups and individuals, including young people, learn how to align and balance themselves, resulting in less stress, more resilience, enhanced responsiveness, wiser decision-making and overall better relational, personal and work outcomes. Lisa holds a Master’s degree in Applied Coaching. Her research focus was virtual coaching, from both coach and coachee perspectives, which enables her to bring a wealth of evidence-based experience and practice to her consultancy work.
Dr Cathy Baldwin is an applied social and behavioural scientist and public health specialist. She works as a consultant in several areas: reviewing and delivering the monitoring and evaluation of global heath programmes, health impact assessments of the social and health effects of infrastructure development and energy production, and a variety of research. Cathy’s research has been published in journals and her first book Social Sustainability, Climate Resilience and Community-Based Urban Development: What about the People? (co-authored with Dr Robin King, WRI) comes out in May 2018! She’s currently building her network in Edinburgh so give her a shout if you want to chat about any of her fascinating work.
Markus Stitz is a key influencer in cycling and became the the first person to cycle around the world on a singlespeed bike with bikepacking bags in 2016! Since returning from his round the world trip Markus has transformed the marketing of Scottish Swimming during the London Olympic and Commonwealth Games and , most recently, has worked with the Borders Book Festival to devise a marketing strategy for the organisation and significantly increase their use of social media. He is a native German speaker and writes freelance for magazines, newspapers and online publications.
Clay Teeter is currently travelling Europe one Air BnB at a time! He’s joined TMP so he has a place to work during his time in Edinburgh. Clay mixes work, life and travel as a software developer and entrepreneur.
