Private rooms are available for hire at any time of the day or week including the weekends. Located on the 4th floor via lift or stairs, all of our rooms are fully accessible, with natural daylight and ventilation.

People love the ‘feel of them’ – a neutral yet welcoming space you can make your own for the duration of your visit.

We have three rooms of different sizes and capacity available.

With outstanding value facilities, video-conferencing provisions, excellent customer service, a dedicated Event Host, and a wide range of delicious, healthy catering options – we promise that your event with us will be a complete success. For a modest surcharge you can also BYOB or catering (though ours will be tastier and fresher).

The Melting Pot is only five minutes’ walk from the platforms of Waverley Train Station and the Airport Airlink bus, and new tram, making us a favourite destination for meeting hosts and conference conveners based outside of Edinburgh and beyond.

  • Workshop

    Workshop Space

    Our largest room, with capacity for anywhere between 10 to 100 delegates, depending on your layout requirements. It’s ideal for training, public consultations & events, away-days, AGMs, launches’, private functions and social gatherings.

    The workshop space is also fitted with an induction loop system which can be set up on request. Anyone attending your event that uses a hearing aid can connect to the induction loop, which will reduce any outside noise or distractions and allow them to hear everything that is taking place during your event more clearly.

    Meeting room

    Has a view (just!) of the castle, and is set up boardroom style to seat up to 10 delegates (12 at a push – but not all day). This room is ideal for smaller group meetings – either conducted in person and over the Internet. You may also like our teleconferencing and interview hosting services.

    A portable induction loop can also be set up on request.

    Note – our minimum booking time for this room is 2 hours. There is a surcharge if you wish to hire it during out-of-office hours, including weekends (we are open until 9pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays – so try them first).

    Pod

    Our ‘Pod’ is a small, confidential, yet moderately visible, private room located in the corner of our coworking space. It can hold up to 4 people and is great for 1-2-1’s where it is safe to be seen but not heard.
