Broughton Deli provides us with a delicious range of meat, vegetarian and vegan fillings on freshly baked bread. To help reduce their carbon footprint they source fresh local ingredients and even deliver to The Melting Pot by foot! 

Empires Café

Empires Café supplies our mouth-watering authentic Turkish Meze. Freshly made in the family run restaurant kitchen, the Meze contains a vegan and vegetarian selection but a meat or seafood option can be added upon request. The dishes combine to provide a traditional Turkish feast that is tasty and filling. 

 GreenCity Wholefoods

GreenCity Wholefoods, a non-exploitative community co-operative, supplies all of our teas, coffees, biscuits etc. All of our teas, coffees and sugars are Fairtrade. 

Hendersons

Hendersons supplies us with freshly made soups, salads, pastries and bread.  An Edinburgh landmark, Hendersons is a vegetarian restaurant which serves delicious healthy food using the best and freshest local ingredients.

Pete’s Farm Shop

Pete’s Farm Shop brings us fresh non-homogenised organic milk in reusable glass bottles. The milk comes from Miller’s Dairy in Carluke, a third generation family-run dairy. Traditional glass bottles avoid landfill and the waste of fossil fuels which comes with recycling plastics. Some people reckon milk tastes better in glass too! 

SOOOP

Sooop brings fresh home made and super tastey soup.  Perfect on those cooler days or when you want to reduce the post lunch-time energy (wheat) slump; and where a bowl of warmth fills the soul as well as the stomach.
