The Melting Pot really is five minutes’ walk from the platforms of Waverley Station. We have two naturally light and accessible rooms to hire that are accessible, spacious and welcoming. We run a low-carbon business, with local food, energy-efficient equipment, recycling and composting.

Workshop Space

The spacious and flexible 'Workshop' space can be set up to your choice of layout to suit your event. Depending on the set-up, it can accommodate from 10-80+ delegates.

Our room rates start from £150 (inc VAT) for a half day, and always include complementary use of a computer, sound system, flipchart, whiteboard, data projector and Wi-Fi.  We've been flexible with the hire options for this space.  You can hire by the hour, the half day or full day, according to set times. We've special discount deals available for small groups, Magic Mondays, bulk bookings, TMP Members and through our own 'TMPLastMinute.com' for late deals.

Meeting Room

Our spacious boardroom style meeting room can seat up to 10 delegates, includes use of a flip-chart, whiteboard, data projector and is available from only £16 per hour inc VAT.  It even has a view of Edinburgh Castle - just!  There is a minimum of 2 hours for a booking, and a small surcharge if you wish to hire during out-off-office hours including the weekends.  Note - we're open really late Tuesday and Thursdays.

This room is also ideal for video or tele-conferencing and Interviewing sessions with our additional Interview Hosting service.

Pod

Our 'Pod'  is a small confidential space holding up to 4 people located in our co-working space. It's great for 1-2-1's where it's safe to be seen but not heard.  The Pod is available for hire at £5 per person per hour.

Food

Choices from our affordable menu range from tasty soups through delicious salads and sandwiches to tempting Turkish Meze.  All our food is supplied by local small businesses and all our teas, coffees, sugars and juices are Fairtrade and organic.
