The Melting Pot aims to stimulate and support social innovation – helping people realise their ideas for a better world.  We provide spaces and services that enable individuals and organisations to work, connect, learn, meet and hold events. The only facility of its type in Scotland, we’re a not-for-profit social enterprise located in the heart of Edinburgh.

For people looking for much more than shared serviced office space, we offer Membership to a bright, accessible, flexible and friendly co-work environment that encourages social innovation and helps your ideas take shape and flourish. 

Our peer-to-peer learning network enables Members to benefit from the skills, experience and knowledge of our whole Membership base, through a range of learning events, socials and other networking opportunities.  Members can have an on-line as well as physical connection with each other through our Members' on-line 'community' area.

Our meeting and events spaces are publicly available, and we have a wide range of additional services such as interview hosting, video and tele-conferencing, self-catering etc.

The Melting Pot is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee.  We are a social enterprise and hold the Social Enterprise Mark.  Our assets are locked into delivering the core business and meeting our aims – to stimulate and support social innovation.
