The Melting Pot provides a large, friendly event and meeting space in central Edinburgh. Located in a low-carbon building owned by the Ethical Property Company, we offer affordable pricing options and a wide range of standard and value-added services.

Perfect for away days, conferences, workshops, launches, talks, training seminars, staff meetings and parties, and other public and private events, our facilities include a 1,080 sq. ft. workshop and event area, breakout spaces, and a 10-person meeting and video conference room.

Events facilities

We offer a professionally equipped events and conference venue in a modern, open, 1080 sq. ft. space with a capacity of 20 up to 100 (seated) or 150 (standing) people. Facilities include:

Internet access (including Wi-Fi), PA system, video conferencing and computer projection facilities
Fresh, local, fair trade and organic catering and refreshments available
Lift access, disabled toilet and baby changing facilities
Low carbon, eco-friendly space and ethos
Variety of break-out spaces with sofas, beanbags, chairs and/or meeting tables

Meeting and conference room facilities

We offer a bright meeting and video conferencing room with seating for four to 10 people and a great view of Edinburgh Castle. The minimum booking time is just two hours. Facilities include:

Private weekend hire of The Melting Pot

You can use The Melting Pot as a unique central venue for your private use by hiring the entire space from Friday evening through the weekend to Sunday evening (or part of that time) to host an event, conference or special function.
